Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s personal doctor Nikoloz Kipshidze called the politician’s condition unsatisfactory.
This was reported by “Report” with reference to the Georgian media.
According to the doctor, Saakashvili’s treatment in a military hospital in Gori requires highly qualified diagnostics and modern medicine.
“Mikheil Saakashvili’s condition is unsatisfactory. He has general weakness, stomach and intestinal problems have been added in the last two days. It requires highly qualified diagnosis and strong medication. He developed anemia that was not observed before,” Kipshidze said on Sunday evening. he said.
At the same time, Otar Toidze, a neurologist who examined Saakashvili on Sunday and a member of the Georgian Council of Alternative Medicine under the auspices of the People’s Defender of Georgia, called the ex-president’s neurological condition severe and demanded that he be sent to a psychoneurological rehabilitation center.
“Mikheil Saakashvili’s neurological condition is serious. He has a problem with movement and mood swings. Saakashvili’s neurological condition indicates the need for special rehabilitation. He needs a special treatment facility, and I doubt it will be found in Georgia,” the doctor told reporters.
Otar Toidze also said that Saakashvili had taken psychotropic drugs at Rustavi Prison and the prison hospital, which were considered harmful to his health, and that his condition had worsened.
“We believe that this drug has worsened Mikheil Saakashvili’s general psychological and neurological condition,” Toidze said.
“Saakashvili told me that he had returned to Georgia to help his people, so he should stay here,” the doctor said.
