A spokesman for the Estonian government told the portal that the issue of whether any of the country’s leaders will go to the Olympic Games in Beijing has not yet been discussed in the Cabinet of Ministers. A similar statement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the same time, the press service of the Estonian Ministry of Culture confirmed that they had been invited to the games, but said that Minister Tiit Terik and Vice Chancellor Tarvi Purn have not yet decided on a visit to China.
