A meeting with startups was held jointly with the EAZI Startup Center of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry within the AZCLOUD ScaleUp program of AzInTelecom LLC, owned by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.
The meeting was attended by mentors of EAZI Startup Center and university students, the company told Report.
Speaking at the event, AzInTelecom representative Nigar Ibrahimova informed the participants about the AZCLOUD ScaleUp program. It was noted that the program allows startups to use AZCLOUD cloud services for free. Also, startups selected for the program, which covers the areas of “Smart Country”, “AgroTech”, “EdTech”, “GreenTech”, “MedTech”, “GameTech” and “E-commerce”, can get AZCLOUD services up to 5,000 manat and participate in trainings. gain the ability to make and support PR.
It was noted that the goal of the AZCLOUD ScaleUp program, implemented in partnership with startups and acceleration centers, is to develop the startup ecosystem in the country and support successful startups in the incubation phase.
Then, Farrukh Farajullayev, Head of Marketing Department of AzInTelecom, conducted a training on “Software: 0 to MVP”. The training featured visual examples through the AZCLOUD portal.
It should be noted that AZCLOUD ScaleUp already cooperates with 5 startups and acceleration centers. In order to expand the scope of the project, it is planned to cooperate with other startups and acceleration centers operating in our country.
