The number of people injured in the collapse of a coal mine in the Turkish province of Izmir has increased.
The report quotes Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca as saying.

“In Izmir and Kınık, 18 people injured in a mine collapse are being treated in Kınık, 6 in Bergama and 21 in Soma State Hospital. Fourteen ambulances and a total of 48 health workers were dispatched to the scene, “Fahrettin Koca wrote on his social media account.
Initial reports said an explosion had occurred at the mine. At the time of the accident, there were about 50 workers at the mine, some of whom were poisoned.
Ambulance brigades from Izmir and Manisa provinces were involved in the area.
