On December 19, the State Examination Center (SEC) held mock exams on the second stage of the entrance exams to higher education institutions in 15 cities and regions of the country.
In the mock exam for the second stage of the entrance exam, entrants were given 30 test tasks (90 tasks in total) for each subject (3 subjects) in accordance with the specialty groups. 22 of these tasks are closed and 8 are open. 3 of the open-ended tasks are situational or text-based tasks that require written answers.
The process of checking written assignments (answers to open-ended tasks) is carried out online. Thus, each marker joins the verification process from his home and checks the work that the program randomly sends to his computer. The online (home) inspection process uses surveillance technology and meets all the requirements of the inspection process (improvement of criteria, encryption of work, participation of markers in pre-inspection calibration for each task, regular seeding process during the inspection). sending) application, random sending of works to markers by the program, examination of examination protocols, etc.) are followed.
The results will be announced within the next 10 days, as it takes a long time to check open-ended assignments that require a written response.
The Ministry of Education and Science informs the participants that the 25 entrants with the best results in the exam will be invited to the “Open Day” to be held on January 14, 2022 in the new office building of the Ministry of Education and Science, located at 299 Academician Hasan Aliyev Street.
At the meeting, the officials of the Ministry of Education and Science will give advice and recommendations to the applicants on the entrance exams, selection of specialties and other issues for the next academic year, and answer their questions.
