According to the new decrees and orders signed by President Ilham Aliyev today, along with the increase in benefits in the country, some pensions have also been increased.
According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the increases will be applied from the beginning of 2022.
From January 1, 2021, the President’s monthly scholarship has been established for doctors of sciences and doctors of philosophy who have at least 25 years of pedagogical experience and are retired. According to the new decree, this scholarship will be increased by 50% for doctors of sciences from 200 to 300 manat, and for doctors of philosophy by 67% from 120 to 200 manat.
According to the new order signed today, the monthly stipends for honorary titles have been increased from 150 to 180 manat for the honorary title of “People” by 33.3%, and from 100 to 120 manat for the honorary title of “Honored” by 20%.
Another new order of the President envisages a 20% increase in scholarships for doctoral students, students studying at higher education, secondary special and vocational education institutions, as well as at the master’s level of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS).
From the beginning of next year, the amount of these scholarships is 360 manat for doctoral students, 216 manat for doctoral students, 204 manat for students receiving scholarships in higher education institutions and ANAS, 91-100 points for master’s degree. 174 manats for students, 144 manats for students with 71-100 points, 96 manats for students with 51-100 points, 156 manats for students with 91-100 points for bachelor’s degree, 132 manats for students with 71-100 points, It will be 90 manat for students with 51-100 points.
The amount of scholarship in secondary special education institutions is 90 manat for students with academic indicators of 91-100 points, 72 manat for students with 71-100 points, 60 manat for students with 51-100 points, 90 manat for students with academic indicators of “5” in vocational education institutions. manat, 72 manats for students with “4” and “5”, 60 manats for students with “3” – “5”.
It should be noted that the new presidential decrees and orders cover a total of 732,000 people with disabilities and other categories, including 132,000 doctoral students and students, and increase social benefits in the form of benefits and scholarships from the beginning of next year. An additional 200 million manat has been allocated annually for these increases.
