Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic has contracted the coronavirus.
The statement came from the president’s press service, TASS reports.
Thus, after contact with a person infected with the coronavirus, Djukanovic’s COVID-19 test was positive.
“The president has mild symptoms of the disease and is feeling well. He will be isolated due to the epidemic and will perform his duties under this regime,” the statement said.
In December 2020, Djukanovic was hospitalized with pneumonia, but at that time coronavirus tests were negative.
