The burnt bodies of at least 35 people, including children, have been found near a village in Myanmar’s eastern state of Karen.
According to the report, Myanmar NOW quoted representatives of the Karen National Union (KNU) armed ethnic group and local residents.
According to the newspaper, the bodies were found in eight cars. KNU officials blamed the incident on Myanmar’s military in the area on Friday (December 24 – Red).
