Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov commented on reports of 17 people missing in the country
It is reported by RIA Novosti.
He said Chechen security forces had no information about the disappearance of 17 people in the region.
At a press conference with the head of the region, the journalist asked about the reports in the local media about the disappearance of 17 relatives of the blogger living abroad. According to media reports, this was due to criticism of the Chechen government.
“Now they say they stole, and I heard: women, relatives, yes, 17 people. They said, ‘I asked Rosguardia, the Interior Ministry, the Federal Security Service, they don’t have such information. If they have information, we will be happy to look for it.’ – Kadyrov said.
“I do not have such information. They say it is their information. If there is evidence, let them say it, let them show it,” the Chechen leader added.
