Today, the State Examination Center (SEC) held the second stage of the professional accountant certificate exam (according to the legislation).
The exam was held on paper in one building in Baku. 1 general examiner, 2 examiners, 20 supervisors-teachers, 2 graduation (security) employees were involved in the examination.
As a precautionary measure against COVID-19 infection, access to the examination building was allowed only with a medical mask, and candidates’ body temperatures were checked with an electronic thermometer, which can be measured remotely, and the necessary disinfectants were used. Candidates are seated in the examination halls at the required distance from each other.
The exam was held for 3 hours and the candidates were given 40 test tasks to assess their knowledge. Of the 40 test tasks, 35 were closed and 5 were open. It is possible to score a maximum of 100 points in the exam.
The results of the exam will be announced within the next 10 days in connection with the examination of tasks that require a written answer.

Test exams Candidates wishing to be admitted to the diplomatic service at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, bachelors wishing to be admitted to master’s degrees of higher education institutions and ANAS, applicants wishing to take exams on both Azerbaijani and TC subgroups will be held for. At the same time, additional mock exams on geography will be organized.
It is necessary to come to the exam building at the time indicated in the admission form.
Admission to the examination halls is carried out only on the basis of the original of the applicant’s ID card, “Exam Admission Form” and the declaration “On the health of the examination participant”. Applicants who do not have one of these documents and come to the exam with a copy of their ID card are not allowed to take the exam.
The mock exam on the Azerbaijani language (as the state language) will be held in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja, Shirvan, Lankaran and Khachmaz. 1070 people registered to take part in the exam. Exam time is 1 hour 30 minutes. The mock exam will be held in accordance with the new exam model, which is scheduled to be implemented in 2020 and announced to the public, but postponed due to a pandemic. Applicants’ listening comprehension skills will also be tested here. There will also be 3 assignments that require written answers. 30 tasks for entrants in the exam:
– 1 text on listening comprehension and 4 text-related tasks (3 closed + 1 open type requiring written answer);
– 2 texts on reading comprehension and 8 tasks on each text (7 closed + 1 open type requiring written answer);
– 10 closed-ended tasks to test knowledge and skills on language rules.
Additional test on geography Additional exam on geography will be held in Baku, Nakhchivan, Ganja and Shamkir for entrants wishing to take the exam on both DT and TC subgroups of the III specialty group. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. Applicants are given 30 test assignments in the exam. 22 of these tasks are closed and 8 are open. 3 of the open-ended tasks are tasks that need to be answered in writing.
