Police in riot gear stormed a rally in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.
It is reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the city of Amsterdam, the prosecutor’s office and the police banned demonstrations against COVID-19 in the city on January 2 for refusing to ensure the safe conduct of the event, which limited the number of participants to 3.5 thousand. However, organizers say they expect 25,000 people to attend and intend to march around the city.
During the campaign, police used the service dog against protesters. At least one person was injured in the clash.
