Belarus’s Health Ministry says 41 Russian citizens have been injured in a bus crash in Belarus’s Vitebsk region.

It is reported that the condition of 6 of the wounded is serious. Among the injured are 4 minors.
The accident took place on the 120th kilometer of the M-8 highway on the Vitebsk-Gomel-Ukraine border. According to preliminary information, the driver of a Renault car went into the lane while overtaking and collided with an oncoming tour bus. As a result, the driver of the car died.
There were 42 people on the bus at the time of the accident, 40 of them were Russian citizens.
Ambulance services were called to the scene. A criminal case has been launched under the article “Violation of traffic rules by negligence leads to death” of the Criminal Code of Belarus.
