Kazakh law enforcement authorities detained more than 200 protesters during protests in several regions of the country.
The statement came from the press service of the Kazakh Interior Ministry.
It was noted that in order to ensure public safety, police officers took measures to prevent violations of public order and to detain violators.
As a result of illegal actions, 95 police officers were injured and 37 service cars were damaged.
It was stated that a preliminary investigation has been launched into 13 cases of violence against government officials, hooliganism and attacks on government buildings.
