Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba spoke by telephone with his British counterpart Elizabeth Trass to discuss the coordination of positions on the conflict with Russia.
The statement came from the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
It was noted that the diplomats agreed on the positions of Ukraine and the United Kingdom in the context of Russia’s aggressive actions and diplomatic talks to be held in various formats in the coming weeks through NATO, the OSCE and the European Union.
The British Foreign Secretary said that his country will continue to support official Kiev: “We are committed to the principle of non-adoption of decisions on Ukraine without Ukraine.”
“Together, we are moving forward with confidence in the implementation of Russia’s comprehensive blockade package proposed by Kiev in November. The protection package includes political, economic and security issues. We are grateful to the United Kingdom for its leadership in this process, “Kuleba said.
