Mercedes is recalling more than 800,000 vehicles worldwide due to a malfunction that could lead to a fire hazard.
The report, citing RIA Novosti, was published by Bild.
The letter addressed to the car owners states that a malfunction was found in the refrigeration pump, which in some cases leads to a fire.
At the same time, it is said that currently, against the background of the coronavirus pandemic, car drivers will not be able to apply to service centers due to lack of necessary spare parts.
We are talking about diesel models produced from January 2017 to October 2021: GLC, GLE, GLS, classes C, E and S, OM654 or OM656 engine CLS.
The text of the letter states that the manufacturer recommends the owners of the affected vehicles to use the car as little as possible.
