Members of the Bulgarian National Assembly will present a mandatory green certificate to enter the parliament building.
The decision was made by a majority of votes, and the discussion of the proposal lasted about five hours, the report said, citing TASS.
Deputies who do not have a green certificate (have not completed a full course of vaccinations or are not infected with the coronavirus) will have to undergo a mandatory coronavirus test at their own expense. Officials of the administration, members of parliamentary groups and journalists will take the test at the expense of the parliamentary budget.
The green certificate requirement will come into force on January 24.
