Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said that the constitutional order has been restored in all regions of the country and the situation is controlled by local authorities.
The statement came from the Kazakh leader’s press service, RIA Novosti reported.
Tokayev held a meeting of the anti-terrorist headquarters with the participation of the leadership of the Presidential Administration, the Security Council and security forces on Friday morning.
According to the press service, the meeting discussed the operational situation in the country, the course of the anti-terrorist operation, the situation in the regions.
“An anti-terrorist operation has been launched. Law enforcement agencies are working hard. The constitutional order has been restored in all regions of the country. The situation is controlled by local authorities,” the statement said.
