Allahverdi Yusibov, accused of stabbing his compatriot in the Samukh region, was sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison.
According to Report, the verdict was announced at a hearing chaired by Ganja Court of Grave Crimes Judge Dadash Imanov.
It should be noted that the incident was recorded on July 27, 2021 near the sub-artesian well called “Istisu” located in the Hajialily village of Samukh region.
Thus, a resident of the region, A. Yusibov, born in 1992, stabbed a resident of Lak village, Elchin Ganbarov, born in 1972, on the basis of personal relations. The wounded man was taken to one of the hospitals in Ganja. His life was saved.
Yusibov, suspected of committing the incident, was detained as a result of search operations conducted by the Samukh District Police Department.
He was charged under Article 126.1 (Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code.
Yusibov, who was interrogated at the court hearing, pleaded guilty. In his testimony, he said that the incident was based on swearing.
