According to Report, the first day of the four-day discussions took place in Sitalchay village of Khizi region.
Javid Alifli, ACWA Power’s representative in Azerbaijan, said that his company had already studied the environmental impact of the project and that a number of international organizations had participated in the process.
The project with a total capacity of 240 MW will be implemented in Sitalchay and Pirakeshkul village of Absheron region. Jeyhun Sultanov, a representative of Ecoenergy, ACWA Power’s partner in Azerbaijan, said that the capacity of Khizi-3 Wind Park will be 162.5 MW, and the capacity of the project in Pirakeshkul will be 78 MW.
25 wind turbines with a capacity of 6.5 MW will be installed under the Khizi 3 project. 12 turbines of the same capacity will be installed in Pirakeshkul. The turbines, which will be 100-110 meters high, will be purchased from China. They are affordable and will allow you to get cheap energy. We plan to commission the wind farm in 18 months. The first electricity from this park is planned to be received by the end of 2023. The project will be completed in mid-2024 and will work at full capacity. The project envisages the transportation of waste. First, the Sumgayit landfill was inspected. But his condition is not good. Therefore, no advice was given there. Balakhani waste center was recommended. But it must be done by a contractor, “he said.
