“We are optimistic about the incident. Ceasefire violations are decreasing. Stability is becoming more comprehensive.”
The statement came from Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Report reports.
The Minister noted that joint military operations with Azerbaijan continue. A joint center with Russia was established on January 30 last year to monitor the ceasefire on the border with Armenia. Violations of the ceasefire on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border are under control:
“We hope that the situation will become more stable in the coming days. We believe that Turkish-Russian cooperation will be successful and a ceasefire will be achieved, and we see that we have contributed to its sustainability. “
Noting that the Turkish military is working with the Azerbaijani Army to clear mines and improvised explosive devices in the liberated areas, Hulusi Akar said that lasting peace here will have a positive impact on both the Caspian and Black Sea regions.
