In Bulgaria, the personal data of about 300,000 citizens, including the country’s leadership and party leaders, have been leaked to the public.
The report was published by the local Monitor newspaper, citing TASS.
According to the report, the personal telephone number and home address of the Speaker of the Milli Majlis, his deputies, the Minister of Agriculture and others have been made public.
The lists include hundreds of well-known journalists and public figures.
The leak was registered after the entry into force of the bill on January 4, which provides for the change of identity codes.
An investigation is underway.
