Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev has replaced two deputies of the head of the National Security Committee (NSC).
According to the report, the Kazakh President signed relevant decrees.
Osipov Marat Saparovich and Ergojin Daulet Edilovich have been relieved of their posts.
By presidential decree, Bakytbek Jamalbekovich Kosjanov and Askar Baymerdenovich Amerkhanov have been appointed new deputy heads of the Central Election Commission.
On January 5, Chairman of the National Security Committee, Lieutenant General Karim Masimov was dismissed. He was detained on charges of treason. Detained Massimov attended a meeting of the Security Council on 5 January.
At that time, he was still the chairman of the MTC. After the meeting, Masimov was dismissed. Yermek Sagimbayev has been appointed the new head of the Central Election Commission.
Masimov has twice served as Prime Minister of Kazakhstan (2007-2012, 2014-2016), as well as an aide to former President Nursultan Nazarbayev (2003-2006). He also headed the Presidential Administration (2012-2014).
